Welcome to the 2024 ICCI Cancer Research Symposium! We are pleased to be back in person on 23rd May, 2024 to host a wide variety of speakers from academia and industry, and are delighted to have you all join us. The full program for the day can be found here, including abstracts for our speakers and poster presenters (the poster link is available here); see below for a schedule of talks. A live stream of the event on Teams can be found here.
The 2024 ICCI Cancer Research Symposium will be starting at 9 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m.
We are very excited to be back in person this year, and to welcome you all! We have Dr. Chand Khanna of Ethos Veterinary Health, Animal Clinical Investigation and The Oncology Service as this year’s keynote speaker. He will be presenting on A Comparative and Iterative Approach to Osteosarcoma Metastasis: Biology and Therapy. Click here to see our guest speakers’ profiles! Due to unforeseen circumstances, our regional keynote speaker, Dr. Abdul Razak from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, has had to cancel his talk. We will update the program as soon as we have more information.
In addition to the Keynote Address, this free virtual event includes invited and short talks, and poster sessions highlighting local and regional cancer research. We also look forward to hearing from presenters here at the University of Guelph.
We are looking forward to showcasing a wide variety of work in our short talks and poster presentations, and hope you’ll take some time to visit these posters during the breaks and ask any questions you may have. We will also be sharing a number of online only posters for those who couldn’t join us, so please visit our poster webpage to view those as well.
Registration and abstract submissions are closed. Please email Deirdre Stuart for late registrations, or if you would still like to submit an abstract for online viewing.
This year’s presentations will be held live in the Ontario Veterinary College learning centre, room ECLA 1720. We will also be live streaming the event via Teams, which can be accessed here.
Please email Deirdre Stuart at dstuar01@uoguelph.ca with any questions.
