The 2024 ICCI Cancer Research Symposium will be starting at 9 a.m. and run until 4:30 p.m.

We are very excited to be back in person this year, and to welcome you all! We have Dr. Chand Khanna of Ethos Veterinary Health, Animal Clinical Investigation and The Oncology Service as this year’s keynote speaker. He will be presenting on A Comparative and Iterative Approach to Osteosarcoma Metastasis:  Biology and Therapy. Click here to see Dr. Khanna’s profile!

In addition to the Keynote Address, this free virtual event includes invited and short talks, and poster sessions highlighting local and regional cancer research. We are delighted to also welcome Dr. Abdul Razak from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital as our regional keynote, along with presenters from here at the University of Guelph.

We are looking forward to showcasing a wide variety of work in our short talks and poster presentations, and hope you’ll take some time to visit these posters during the breaks and ask any questions you may have. We will also be sharing a number of online only posters for those who couldn’t join us, so please visit our poster webpage to view those as well.

Registration for the event can be submitted here, and the deadline for in-person registrants is 9th May 2024. Virtual participants are welcome to register right up until the day of the event. We will be closing the registration link on 21st May, so please email Deirdre Stuart for late registrations. Abstracts for posters and short talks should be submitted by 1st May 2024. The link for abstract submission can be found here.

This year’s presentations will be held live in the Ontario Veterinary College learning centre, room ECLA 1720. We will also be live streaming the event via Teams, and the link for the live stream will be available closer to the event.
